The EW953 from Superwiser Holdings (and that’s an interesting name right there) in China plays MPEG-4 files, and MP3 and WMA formats with ID3 tags. In an apparent attempt to hit a market that many companies (from China and otherwise) seem to have little love for, the device is compatible with Mac OS 9.2 and above. Windows user? No worries, it’ll do 98, SE (with drivers), ME, 2000 and XP.

Available in capacities of 128MB, 256MB, 512MB, 1GB, 2GB and 4GB, the EW953 has a 2.4-inch TFT screen with 65,000 colors, a miniSD slot, a USB 2.0 port, a built-in speaker and FM radio functionality. You also get support for multiple languages and seven EQ settings. Dimensions are 66.3×50.2×12mm.
