Shenzhen Joymaimai is offering the DGT-012, which joins the swelling ranks of China products that play RealMedia (RM and RMVB) files. But wait, there’s more! The device also shows love for SWF, WMV (including WMV9), AVI (DivX 11/4.x/5.1/5.2, and Xvid), DAT, MPEG and ASF formats. For audio, you get MP3, WMA and WAV support. JPEGs, BMPs, GIFs and PNGs are allowed as well. Oh, and TXTs, too.
In case you found the design a little familiar, it looks exactly like Aigo’s P881/Patriot (the fact that the device has Aigo literally written on the front is another good indicator).
The DGT-012 has a 4.3-inch TFT screen, a USB 2.0 port with OTG functionality, A/V output and 80GB of built-in memory. It’ll record audio in WMA format, but it only plays nice with Windows 2000 and XP. The battery is good for four hours of video or 16 hours of audio. Dimensions are 124×76x28mm, and weight is a shade under 200g.
