Neonode N2 to Sting iPhone in 2008

One of the original iPhone Killers, the Neonode N2 is a tiny touch screen phone based on Windows CE 5. It measures 77 x 47 x 14.7mm and weighs only 70 grams. The N2 can play music as well as video files. The N2 is a quadband GSM with 3G connectivity only for European bands. The Neonode N2 will include a 2.0 megapiuxel camera and Bluetooth among its features and will set you back around $609. A word on the N2 touch screen. Unlike the iPhone’s touch screen, the Neonode’s user interface works through an optical grid, which is responsive to gestures - not a “real” touch screen, in other words. The N2 phone has launched in Europe and will be in the US early 2008.

Note: A few weeks ago, Neonode has opened web shops to accommodate consumers. I suppose they are expecting a big launching weekend similar to iPhone.

Kristoffer. Can you confirm that the Neonode has 3G? I’ve been wondering that for a while since most news sources says it has 3G. If you can give me a lead that confirms it doesn’t I’ll be much obliged. Thanks.

It was a good read, I just wrote it up a little differently. Just my thoughts on the subject.
