Portable Gaming, VoIP

The Nintendo DS can do a lot of things, but did you know that you can use it to make VoIP calls? Well thanks to a hacker known only as samuelv, you can now use the DS’s built in WiFi, touchscreen, and microphone to call people up. All you need is to get your hands on a simple software, plus a SIP account. Users already have the app up and running, and it looks like more tweaks and improvements will be made to it since you’ll be needing l33t haXx0r skills to get the software to work on your DS. But if you can get it to work, man - now’s the best time to be the owner of a relatively cheap, handheld gaming system!

Aside from this, silver seems to be the new white as the Nintendo DS Lites across Europe gets a silver coat of paint. It kind of resembles the PSP now. Watch out for the new color on October 12!
