The Street was right on the money when they claimed that Apple will not come out with a 3G iPhone until 2008. Jobs told the audience at “Mum is no longer the word” his reasons why the current iPhone didn’t have 3G connectivity: it will drain battery life much faster. He also had comforting words for the reporters though: “We are working on the next iPhone already, the one after that and the one after that,” he said. That’s right, 3G and more.
