Offically it’s a MID not a UMPC. It’s a huge one, though BenQ will be hoping it’s the screen real estate, not the bulkiness people are going to notice about the yet unnamed mobile Internet device. It runs on an Intel chip and officially a 4.8-inch touch screen with a user-friendly user interface. If you insist on a touch screen device, this should get you excited. However, if it’s practicality you’re looking for, the Asus Eee PC with a 7-inch display, real keyboard and Windows XP support and costing less than $200 seems like a better buy.
