Apple’s outlook on this year’s iPhone sales is far more optimistic. The tech shop in Cupertino, California has plans to nearly double its iPhone production during the fourth quarter. According to sources close to the company, Apple intends to manufacture 2.7 million iPhones, which is almost double the original target of 1.54 million. Sales of the iPhone have improved since the price cut, and Apple has a rosy outlook on demand ever since they announced their executive sales partnership with Telefonica UK’s wireless unit O2. There’s still much debate as to whether consumer demand for the Apple iPhone is strong enough, but it seems like iPhone sales are fairly solid at the moment.
