Meet ONDA’s Honey VX878, the little brother of the VX858. Sporting an improved interface, this device has a 2.4-inch touchscreen display with 260,000 colors and support for AVI files, and MP3, WAV, WMA, FLAC and APE audio formats, with LRC for portable karaoke. JPG and BMP images, and TXT documents are handled as well.
The Honey VX878 has a built-in speaker and a slot for microSD and TransFlash cards up to 4GB. It comes with an FM tuner, voice-recording capability and games. Priced at a little less than $55, it’ll be out in the China market in early October. If there was an iPod Touch Nano, it would conceivably look like this.
