If it isn’t the new iPods it’s this unnamed music-only player (MP3, WMA) sold at Brando. The casing can be customized and even show your company’s logo. The main selling point is it form factor (85.5 x 54 x 4.5 mm) and weighing at 20g it’s amazingly light. IT comes with 2GB on on board memory and has a USB port so you can use it to store your PC’s music collection or other files, doubling as a flash drive. It’s compatible with Linux, Windows 98SE to XP and Mac OS but not Vista.

I think that would greatly increase battery life, because if you are going to watch a movies or music form your playlist, your Hd can pre load it on the Flash drive. this the hd would still spin a idle seed incase you want to pause the movie and look at pics, etc, but not having the HD spinning all the top should help alot.
