The Sony PSP is hot, hot, hot in Japan. After beating the 3,000 yen cheaper DS for the first time in recent memory, the PSP Lite (now with TV and now with “Final Fantasy 7: Crisis Core”), PSP Lite & Slim rounded up four days in retail stores with over a quarter of a million units sold. Yes, that’s 250,702 units or just a little under iPhone’s retail sales in its first 30 hours. That’s quite a feat for a multi-functional portable console.
