Similar to many other China-made PMPs, the RK186-1 from Rush Electronic takes inspiration from existing products. This time, however, it wasn’t a device that was deemed worthy of flattery-by-imitation. Your eyes don’t deceive you; the buttons of the front panel are placed and colored to replicate exactly the now-defunct Cingular logo.

That aside, there isn’t much new here. The device plays AVI videos (and converts non-AVI files), and accepts MP3 and WMA audio files (with LRC lyric support), JPEGs, and TXT documents with bookmarking capability. It also allows use as a mass storage device and can do digital audio recording. A 1.8-inch TFT LCD with 262,000 colors and a speaker are built-in.
