psp-slim-record-sales.jpg

Sony sold a record 550,000 units of its PlayStation Portable in the month of September. PSP earlier made news when it surpassed Nintendo DS sales after releasing the new slim and lite version. Two other factors may have helped PSP sales: the lower price ($170) and the release of “Final Fantasy Crisis Core” for PSP.
