On September 19, iRiver made a presentation on their new PMPs for the fourth quarter, but fans say that iRiver seems to have been giving subtle hints about the iRiver Clix 3. The speculation came from one of the images in the iRiver presentation (above). It looks like the top left image is that of a Clix 2 but it could also be the Clix 3. It resembles the Clix 2, but fans say that iRiver hasn’t shown pictures of the new generation of Clix PMPs and might have stuck with the design of the Clix 2.

Unfounded rumors aside, we do have solid news about the specs of the Clix 3. It’s going to have a 3-inch LCD display, as well as a 1.3-inch HDD with a capacity of 33GB of storage. Looks like the rumors about how the Clix will sport the HD storage instead of the increasingly popular flash memory alternative came true. According to reports, the device will be released at November so watch out for it!
