Orange will be relasing a slightly different version of the HTC Touch II, dubbed “Dual.” The original 20-key numeric keypad will be sliced down to 16 keys. Orange wants it to appeal to smartphone users who prefer a touchscreen user interface and a real numeric keypad to slide out in case they need a surer way to dial contacts in case of emergencies. Sounds iffy, but this might have to do with the Nokia N81 and Nokia’s new Music Store, which Orange had said no to earlier.
