Remember the Slacker player that’s supposed to kill the iPod? Dubbed the “personal Internet radio,” the Slacker player connects to the Slacker service via WiFi and was considered by critics as “perhaps the best implementation of WiFi on a DAP/PMP to date.” We haven’t heard from Slacker about their Internet radio player for many months. Then here comes someone from Slacker support saying the player will be released anywhere between this month to December. Will Internet radio kill the iPod? We’ll be waiting for sure.
