Reminiscent of Archos’ AV420, the V503 from Nanjing Panda plays MPEG-1, MPEG-4, DivX4.x, DivX5.x, AVI and DAT videos at a resolution of QCIF, CIF, DI, 2/3DI or 1/2DI. It also does WMA and MP3 audio files, JPEGs and TXT documents.
Equipped with a 1.8-inch mini HDD, the device has a 2.4-inch TFT LCD, a USB 2.0 port and a slot for SD cards. AV-out and audio recording features are standard, as is FM radio functionality. The company will even throw in an IR remote, in case you’re less than athletic (or just plain lazy).
