Sporting a design not seen, well, anywhere else, the X-5 from Maike Industrial displays AVI videos and still images while allowing use as an e-book reader (with e-dictionary, in case you come across some complex e-terms).

The device has a 2.5-inch LCD and a built-in speaker. AV-in is supported, and the capability to record straight from a TV is standard. The X-5 comes with 1,700 “classical” games, and has an SD slot to increase memory capacity.
