Too few portable devices are using AMOLED (active matrix light emitting diode), which is a better, more energy efficient screen technology than LCD. Samsung will be manufacturingAMOLED screens themselves and will also be selling them to Asian manufacturers. We will be watching out for any samples Samsung will be releasing in the future on how the screens will look like on devices.
