Microsoft just came out with a new limited edition version of the Zune 30–the first ever Zune that features a specific music artist. Above is a pic of how the Zunes will actually look like, and here’s our previous coverage when it was first announced. I have no idea why they didn’t get a more famous group like the Beatles or something, and honestly I have never heard of Wisin and Yandel until today. Apparently, they’re a reggae group from Puerto Rico and they were chosen because Zune is going after the Latin market. The Wisin and Yandel Zunes will be sold in Wal-Mart stores for $199. I wonder if they’ll actually sell though, considering that you can get a Zune for less than a hundred bucks if you know where to look.
