The KW-P4 075 from Kinwei Technologies keeps it simple with its no-frills approach to layout and design. Its stark and heavily utilitarian appearance was made to pose a good counterpoint to the often cluttered/gaudy looks of new PMPs. Either that, or the R&D team decided to make a real product out of half-conceived sketches on a restaurant napkin.
The device displays MTV and AWV videos, and JPEG, GIF and BMP images, on its 2.4-inch TFT screen. MP1, MP2, MP3 and WMA audio files are supported, and e-book, FM radio and gaming functionality are built-in. Available in black and white variants, the KW-P4 075 comes with seven EQ modes and goes up to 2GB of memory capacity. Input is done through a touch-sensitive keypad.
