So, we’ve been seeing a growing number of PMPs that take design inspiration from cellphones. Not all of them are complete rip-offs, though, as some only imitate the distinctive parts. Well, the YHM-MPE02 from Yahee Technologies (which seems to have a thing for Nokia products) just joined that club, as it sports a look seen previously on Nokia’s Xpress Music 5300. Interestingly, it may also have a USB 2.0 plug built-in, as seen in the product image.
Anyway, the YHM-MPE02 does MPEG-4 and ASF videos, and MP1, MP2, MP3 and WMA audio files with lyric display. JPEGs and TXT documents are supported as well. Equipped with a 2-inch QVGA LCD, the device comes with FM radio and voice recording functionality. A slot for TransFlash cards and a speaker are built-in.
