If Onda is launching a iPod Nano Killer, they’re not letting on much. We’ve posted about VX888, which is a PMP with a 2.0-inch LG Shine-like mirror-finish screen, even before we got hold of the complete specifications thinking it’s a pretty noteworthy model just by its looks alone. Now that we have the specs and more pics like the one above, we haven’t changed our mind. The device has PlayFX! This is Microsoft’s new music-playing standard with 3D headphones, autovolume and PureBass. The VX888 also boasts APE/FLAC support, besides the usual WMA, MP3. LRC lyrics is also here. Video playing is less than stellar at 24 fps with native XviD (AVI) support. To top it all up, there’s the prerequisite FM tuner. It’s available in 4GB and currently unpriced.
