Admittedly, the GK-P170 from Shenzhen GIEC Electronic doesn’t offer much in the way of design or features. At least the company was thoughtful enough to build in a stand (similar to the Archos 705) that props the device up while you watch your DivX, RMP, AVI, MPEG, VOB, MPG or DAT videos. Oh, the media player also supports WMA, MP3, WAV and AC-3 (converted to PCM) audio files.
The GK-P170 has a 7-inch TFT LCD, microphone, and AV-in and -out capability, and can also be used to views JPEGs. It comes with a built-in 0.5W speaker, a 20GB HDD, a USB 2.0 port and a slot for CF cards. Dimensions are 210×120x33mm.
