Nokia’s latest entry in the gaming market race, the N-Gage 3: This Time It’s Software, won’t be released this November as originally planned because it’s going to need more testing. The N-Gage hardware didn’t live up to its basic premise, and the N-Gage QD was pretty much a better version of a bad idea. The new N-Gage is a software platform and includes a set of gaming APIs that was supposed to be sold on Nokia’s new Ovi portal. According to Reuters, however, there won’t be any games to download because testing is taking more time than they initially anticipated. Looks like this is bad news for Ovi. What with no N-Gage and no Warner Music, it’s off to a pretty bad start since this service is supposed to be the future of Nokia.
