News about the Jensen NVXM1000 (or the Rock’N'Road) was so 11 months ago and for some reason, it took that long for this XM mini tuner / navigator hybrid to go on sale. The Rock’N'Road packs a 4.3-inch color touchscreen, an 8GB hard drive, wireless FM modulator, integrated photo viewer/media player, SD slot, and USB connectivity, along with support for XM Instant Traffic, weather, sports, and stocks. And if you happen to be part of a Toyota, GM, Honda, Hyundai, or Nissan dealership, you can get the rebadged Advent ADV800XM for the same amount. The question is, is the Rock’N'Road worth the $799 it’s selling for? I’m not sure why anyone would want to pay that much for a GPS but apparently there are people out there who think that it might be worth it.
