Good news for those with Jailbroken iPhones! The iPhone Elite development team says that they’ve unlocked firmware 1.1.2. Somehow the guys in the team figured out a way to downgrade 1.1.2 to 1.0.2 or 1.1.1 and unlock it from there. The 1.1.2 iPhone hasn’t actually been unlocked because it hasn’t gotten jailbroken yet, but the Elite team has been able to unlock the new modem firmware. Grab the unlock at the Google code site.
