Creative announced that they’ve sold a total of 25 million mp3 players since the release of the Nomad in 1999. While 25 mil may not be much to a giant like Apple, this is an important milestone for the company nonetheless. Creative’s one player unit volume has exceeded the combined unit sales of some of the household names in consumer electronics. Competition’s been rather stiff lately, but it looks like the Creative ZEN series and MuVo players are gonna be around for some time.  Here’s to the next 25 million MP3s flying off the shelves!
