The new M800 phonewatch is the slimmest yet in China’s M-series of phone watches. Yes, that’s right, M-series, though we don’t how SMS, the manufacturer of the M500, fits into the general M-scheme of things. The M800 improves on the form factor of previous models (read: it’s slimmer) and has a more sophisticated set of features: PMP capability (audio/video playback), A2DP Bluetooth (headset comes with the package), and a 1.3-inch touch screen with stylus input (stylus goes into the watch belt for safekeeping. No price yet.

Just wanted to let you guy’s and gal’s know that the M800 works terrific! It did take a few minutes to figure out where to convert the Chinese language to English. When you do get your phone watch, on the main screen you will see a file with to wrenches, click on it,this will take you to the settings page.When it takes you there it will still be in Chinese. Don’t worry!Click on the second icon.Now it will take you to another page stll in chinese,don’t worry!Click on the number 3. You should see the English option. Do you see it? Click on it! Now your ready to go! I hope this helps everyone out.Don’t forget to protect your M800 from scratches,dings,and dust! Well, DigitalRise came out with the D187i watch first… it is gauranteed to be tri-band and work in the USA (i have one) the other models tend to be dual-band for Europe… Oh yes, the M600i or w100 is only dual band - it will not work in the USA… only the DigitalRise D187i is tri-band and will work in the USA… here it is.. http://www.chinagrabber.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1404

I think Chinese phones have very good exciting features which the western phones do not have. The greatest challenge though is around quality issues. I think if China can have a strong regulator towards manufacturing of these phones the industry can do even better. I have a very stable one from Sakhumzantsi but they seem to have a very strong selection procedure for the phones they sell.
