Version 11.0.026 firmwareis now available for the Nokia N95 8GB. The update seems to work fine for N95 8Gb users who have loaded it (105MB). Bug fixes are included of course with the added benefit of a faster and smoother UI operation. There has also been complaints in the Nokia forums about the necessary N95 firmware update. It looks like N95 users have some problems with the keypress. Just so you know.

I have just checked for this update (via the Nokia software updater) for my Nokia n95 8GB and I got a message saying that there is no update available. My current firmware version is 10.0.021. Has the update been withdrawn or something?

I have also checked the updater for my Australian provided N95 8G and it also says there is no updates available. This phone was / is provided by 3.
Might be a “vendor” specific thing..

I just checked for the firmware update with the NOKIA PC SUITE (3rd dec.) and it seems to have found.
The update is being installed as I am typing.
You should check now. Should be available for everyone.

I was updating my N95 8GB with the help of Nokia Softwre Updater Software ……. the whole thing was of 102.6MB …………… The Software has downlaoded the whoole thing when the phone was getting updated it got resarted n now its not getting switched on n even the updating process stopped

Pls HOLD the upgrade. I have updated the firmware and the camera cannot focus properly. All the photo comes out blurred. If you don’t believe me, search the web for this problems. Alot of complain on Nokia Forum on the same subject. Now, my N95 8GB cam is totally worthless.
