Given the popularity of iPods and cameras, it is no surprise that we’ve seen this sort of thing before (albeit with the HDD-using iPod type). This time, however, BTL International clones and shoves a 2MP camera into the back of the current-gen Nano with its M2406 model.
Specs-wise, the device supports AVI videos, and MP3, WMA, WMV and WAV audio files. It has a 2.4-inch TFT screen (220×176 pixels, 262,000 colors), a built-in speaker and six EQ settings. Internal memory ranges from 128MB to 4GB, all flash, and can be supplemented with miniSD cards.

[...] If this product seems familiar it is because it is a blatant, shameless knockoff. BTL International has created their own version of the new iPod Nano, which they have given a far less catchy name - the M2406. There is a bit of a twist, though - this non-Nano has a 2 megapixel camera shoved into it. As a Nano owner, that’s actually an idea that I could easily get behind. The devices supports a full range of formats - AVI for video, and MP3, WMA, WMV and WAV for audio. The screen is a 2.4 inch TFT at 220 x 176 pixels and 262,000 colors. The devices offers something else that the real thing doesn’t have - a built-in speaker. Internal memory is available in a range of capacities from 128MB to 4GB, and a miniSD card can complement the flash memory. There’s no word on the price or availability of the device, or when Apple will file their inevitable copyright infringement lawsuit. Via PMPToday [...]
