JetBlue airlines will be the first airline in US aviation history to allow texting during flight. Instant messaging and checking and sending email using your Yahoo accounts and corporate accounts using BlackBerry phones is also possible once the plane reaches 10,000 feet. The FAA says that wireless communication doesn’t interfere with airplane equipment. Other airlines will offer similar services soon. First flight with texting is on December 11.
