Ever since the iPhone launched with Google Maps as one of its applications, Google and iPhone have been best buds. Google just released an iPhone Google app that has most of its tools in just one site. When users point their iPhone Safari browser to Google.com, they’ll see a different Google search page. It has tabs at the top of the page that offers quick access to Gmail, Google Calendar, and Reader, plus another tab for services that include links to docs, Goog-411, Blogger, and Picasa. Pretty conventient to have all of this without having to bookmark sites!

The Google App is the latest in Google’s mobile line-up. Prior to this, Google launched My Location last month, a feature of Google Maps that lets users find their location on a map even without a GPS chip on their phone. It’s not available for the iPhone yet but it’ll probably make its way there very soon.
