New Portege Superphones From Toshiba
16 12 2007I suppose it is justifiable to call Toshiba’s FCC candidates superphones. The Portege G910 and G920 are both folder phones in the same category as the Nokia E90. Now, we never called the E90 a superphone but Toshiba’s Protege phones seem to merit the name based on the most recent iteration of the Portege series: Windows Mobile 6, QWERTY keypad, HSDPA, WiFi, VGA (800 x 480) screen and a price tag that makes the G900 smart phone truly super: $860.
The G910/920 will have WiFi and two cameras and will probably be running on a powerful Qualcomm processor - just how powerful, we’ll let Toshiba officials surprise us in the near future.
