Great news for PS3 users–the PS3 Firmware 2.10 has a bunch of awesomiffic new features in store. Once you download the update, your PS3 gets DivX and WMV support. But the best addition from the firmware is that PS1 games can be played on your PSP through Remote Play. This means that you can download PS1 games from the PSN store through the PS3, then leave the game on the PS3’s drive and play it anywhere in the world using your PSP’s Remote Play — so long as you have an internet connection. It doesn’t take THAT much effort to bring PSP UMD’s around but since we human beings are lazy creatures, this new convenience is certainly most welcome. That is, as soon as a library of PS1 games appears on the PSN store.
