Koreans seem to love their multi-purpose portable media players, and the W-700 series from Inkel looks like something that will fly off the shelves in no time. I don’t see why it won’t be a hit when it runs on a Dual Core CPU (360MHz+300MHz), and has Mappy United map software, 128MB DDR SDRAM, support for T-DMB, and SiRFstar III GPS with real-time TPEG traffic data. Not to mention all the media you want to play on its sleek, 7-inch screen Samsung’s Digital TFT LCD screen (800*400 WVGA). It even has a text viewer and functions as a digital photo frame. Of course, all these features come with a price, and this baby doesn’t get any cheaper than $500 ($506 to be exact). If we’ll ever see it leave Korea, that is.

I have a Garmin Nuvi series GPS. It only cost me about 400. Its a great unit with lots of features and I wouldnt trade it for anything. I tried the Magellan and found it a bit complicated to use and the Tom Tom was not as good as the Garmin. Check them out for yourself.
