Amazon’s electronics category is dominated this holiday season by Apple PMPs. The silver 4GB Nano Phatty takes top spot while the 16GB iPod Touch, 80GB iPod Classic, the black 8GB iPod Nano (third-gen) are all in the top five. The Kindle, a standalone e-Book reader we kinda like, is number two.

Even more relevant for the Christmas season, Amazon’s “Most Gifted in Electronics” also has the 4GB iPod Nano silver toppng the list while the 8GB version (black) takes the number 4th spot. The 8GB and 16GB iPod Touch take 6th and 7th respectively while the 80GB iPod Classic is number 10. The iPod Shuffle and the Blue 8GB Nano are also in the top 20. The 80GB Microsoft Zune, which has been topping Amazon’s chart of late, is number 17. GPS devices are also top-sellers as navigational assistance has finally crept into the mainstream, which is what Nokia expects.
