Sonwy Technology (doesn’t that name remind you of some other company?) has released the MP4-008C, which plays MPEG-4 videos, and MP3, WMA, WAV and DRM9-equipped audio tracks. JPEG images can likewise be displayed.
A 2.4-inch, 320×240-pixel TFT display with 260,000 colors is built-in, as is a 1.3MP camera with 5x digital zoom and a USB 2.0 port. A microphone and a slot for TransFlash cards are built-in, and gaming and e-book reader functionality are included. FM radio capability is optional, but seven EQ settings are standard.
