Here’s yet another gadget from Korea that looks like it can do everything except clean the kitchen sink. The Windows CE-based Maxian E900T PMP has a snazzy 4.3″ touch screen with an 800 x 480 resolution and it can pretty much play any audio format (including MP3, WMA, AAC, and OGG) and supports WMV, MPEG-2/4, DiVX/XviD, and H.264 videos. It can even support real-time lyrics display for tracks tagged with SYLT encoding!

But nope, that’s not all the E900T can do. You can connect this thing to your TV or home theater system and enjoy its 720p high-def video and DTS surround sound, powered by Burr-Brown processing circuitry. If you’re the type who’s always on the go and not really one to sit at home and be a couch potato, you can bring the E900T with you in the car. It’s got an optional windshield antenna/dock, GPS navigation, a DMB TV receiver that accepts Korea’s digital TV signals so you and your passengers don’t miss your favorite programs.

The Maxian E900T comes with 30GB memory (white) or 60GB memory (black and blue), and has a built in SD/MMD card reader. Like all good things, this one comes with a catch. And the catch is–it looks like it’s available in Korea only.

Technience : Blog Archive : The Maxian E900T Looks Great, If You’re In Korea Says:

[...] It seems to be that all portable electronic companies are trying to make the perfect all-in-one media device. You want to be able to play movies and music, read ebooks, get direction via GPS, watch TV and backup information off memory cards (like photo’s and things). The upcoming Maxian E900T will be able to do everything listed above (and probably a lot more). It runs the Windows CE operating environment and features a 4.3? touch screen with an 800 x 480 resolution, 720p high-def video and DTS surround sound output (via a Burr-Brown processing circuitry) plus a DMB television receiver (which handles Korea’s digital over-the-air television signals). For storage you have the choice of either a 30GB or 60GB (get with the times, its now 80 or 160) plus both feature a SD/MMC card slot. There is also the option to get a docking station that adds a attachment arm and GPS for navigating yourself around on the road. If it had wireless and a web browser, it would be a UMPC. Seeing it will probably be focused more at the PMP market, it will blow away any of its current competitors. Unfortunately you will never see it leave the sandy shores of Korea (unless you get someone to export you one). For more info, click over to the PMPToday Blog. [...]
