Cellphone manufacturer Motorola is going for the mobile-TV watching crowd. Say, what? Yep, Moto has a DVB-H player with DVR functionality called DH01. The US-based company may be thinking of other markets besides home base. Countries like Japan, Korea and to some extent, several member nations of the EU have a love affair with portable TVs, but if Moto thinks Americans will bite, it’s facing some rough road up ahead. The DH01 has a 4.3-inch screen and plays videos at 25fps. Storage is via SD cards, which is a little unfortunate. The device will play for 4 hours in a single charge. We can get a closer look at the Motorola DH01 at CES.
