Devil iPod Nanos Now Available

Christmas is over and the devil iPod nanos are coming out. The idea, actually, is to sell these iPod knockoffs in costume for Christmas. Unfortunately for Putian Hengwang Trade Co., Ltd., we’ve only spotted these evil MP4s just now. Basically, the user interface is straight out of Apple’s iPod Nano 2G. Rubbery arms extend from the from a device protector of the same material hiding the nano clone underneath. The 1.5-inch or 1.8-inch TFT screen is exposed by a squarish whole up front, but at the back you’re entertained a face cut out of the rubber protector.

The screen supports 65k colors. It only plays music files (MP1, MP2, MP3, WMA, WAV, ASF) so a better resolution and bigger screen is not necessary. Audio recorder and external speaker is optional but all come with built-in FM. Models are available in 1GB, 2GB, 4GB and 8GB.

That looks a lot like those silicone iPod cases you can buy at Fully Booked. Well, I dunno if they still carry them.
