Apple iPod

One of the things I noticed about the gadgets at CES 2008 is how manufacturers are placing a bigger role on design. People today don’t just want technology - they want to be gadget geeks with style. I was looking through the stuff featured at the convention and based on looks alone, I think the Vestalife Ladybug iPod Docks are the prettiest among the showcased gadgets. As you’ve probably guessed from the name, these ladybug shaped iPod docks have “wings” (speakers) that fold out so you could plug your iPod in. But what makes them stand out among all the other iPod docks out there is their metallic paint jobs. Not only is each model is painted to match every color in the iPod Nano rainbow; some of them even have unique, quirky designs like the teal one pictured above. The Ladybug iPod Docks cost $130 a pop, and is definitely at the top of my list of Stuff I Don’t Need But Really Really Want.

I ordered the Red ladybug. It came today and I have to say, I am in LoVe! The sound is great and it is hella compact. I use it with my ipod touch and I am blown away by the design and the sound quality for it’s size. I would recommend this product to anyone, reguardless of age! I am in LOVE with my Ladybug (^_^)
