<!--%kramer-ref-pre%-->[...] Chi S800 PMP Taking Touchscreen to Brick? Chinese MP4 manufacturer Chi has a new touch screen media player for all of us to consider. Notwithstanding, the brick-like dimensions (it almost seems appropriate to throw this PMP on your enemy), the S800’s 2.9-inch WQVGA (400 × 240) impresses. What is even more impressive is that beside that single ‘Home’ button below the screen, there are apparently no tactile control on the device. Must be touch screen, right?Sadly, no. If you look closely at the other photos (after the break), you’ll notice that the ‘Home’ button is raised. Also, media support, it seems, is only limited to audio files: MP3, RA, WMA, WAV, AAC with lossless APE and FLAC. The 2GB is priced at 399 yuan ($55).(more…)(Via PMP Today.)
