So what do you get for $19.99?
First is a GPS substitute called Google Maps with WiFi triangulation. This is a pretty neat feature, especially when you’re in an area with a lot of WiFi devices. It’ll pin-point your location on your iPod Touch Google Maps interface without an actual GPS.
Second, you will get email support for POP3 or IMAP mail services. The application supports rich html and displays graphics and images.
Third, your iPod Touch will have Notes, a great app that I’ve always been complaining the iPod Touch lacks. You can now write memos to yourself, poems, short stories and what-not using the iPod Touch. Weather and Stoocks are also in, which makes our Apple PMP an e-Book reader PLUS.

Once again Apple shafts early buyers of their products !!!
I bought an iPod Touch a few months back… Now I figure out that if I had waited a few months I would got an iPod Touch with the new software. For being an early adopter, I am shafted… I need to pay 20 bucks for the software… This exactly what happened to the initial buyer of the iPhone…
I will never ever buy another Apple product immediately after it’s lauch.
