The specs of LG’s touch-screen V50 PMP, under the “touch cinema” branding, includes a 2.2-inch screen, a mobile XD engine and an optional FM tuner. We don’t have the details on screen resolution and file support but from the picture, it’s a pretty good mini-video player.
It comes in 2GB, 4GB or 8GB versions and has a playing time of 24 hours for music and 4.5 hours for video. It’s a sleek audio/video device for a yet unannounced price. Along with the COWON D2, this is one of only two touchscreen PMPs we know within the iPod nano’s size range. So, decent mini-PMP with touch screen: why not an iPod Nano killer?
