iRiver SPINN Has a Clone: KNC M-298

Already! We had a feeling it would come very soon but we are blown away by how soon. One week after iRiver announced its new SPINN “hinge” PMP out comes a clone from where else but Shenzhen China. KNC, the manufacturer is a respectable manufacturer and we have featured a couple of its products before. Not that we haven’t seen the “hinge” being used on a PMP before the iRiver SPINN.

Though the designs of the SPINN and the M-298 are uncannily similar, we are prepared to consider the similarity as pure accident. Let’s look at the specs:

2.4-inch QVGA screen
1.3 megapixel camer
supports AVI natively and MP4
plays 8-bit games, NES
miniSD
e-Book
No FM tuner mention and no price yet

Well, a typical Chinese PMP, if I say so myself.
