This times it’s a collaboration between the iPhone Development team and the iPhone Elite. Firmware 1.1.3 has been jailbroken. With the jailbreak, you can install third-party applications on both the upgraded iPhone and iPod Touch.
The method will not be released until the jailbreak team can figure out an easy way for users to do it themselves without professional help. the process is very complicated. For now, let this suffice: iPhone firmware 1.1.3 is code-named “LittleBear.” And of course, they have a video of a jailbroken iPhone for us.
The YouTube video after the break.

iPhone jailbreak with firmware upgrade 1.1.3

I would like to hear more about the approach that resulted in a successful jailbreak, not so much the detail. For example, I would assume that the 1.1.3 restore file(*.ipsw) has been opened by finding the key. As I understand it, that file includes both the 1.1.3 update and the applications that Apple is asking $20 USD for. Are those files further encrypted or are they unfettered once the restore file has been opened with vfdecrypt and the proper key?

well that is quite an interesting feat 1.1.3 jailbreak, however I m no computer genius so I need a simple method 4 how to do it. Apple can stick that 20 bux up their ass (I’m a of user and fan).
