What you’re looking at right there isn’t a newfangled printer, which was what I first thought when I saw this. It’s called the Readius e-reader by Polymer Vision, but it’s not just an e-reader either. It’s a tri-band mobile phone with GSM/GPRS connectivity and 3G, and it’s most salient feature is its foldable, roll-out, five-inch screen. When the screen’s unfolded, you can use it to read e-books or RSS feed texts non-stop for thirty hours. The Readius e-reader even works as an audio player when you fold the screen back in. You can store up to 8GB worth of ebooks and files through an SD card slot, and for easy data transfer, simply use the USB 2.0 port or Bluetooth 2.0. Watch out for the Readius e-reader this summer! No news yet on how much this is gonna retail for and where else it will be available though.

Heh, pretty damn nifty.
Wonder how much longer until color LCD e-paper displays starts popping up now. If I’m not mistaken the one great thing about these displays is battery life in general, can’t wait to see how much further they go.
