ONDA VX747 Brings Wide-Wide-Screen to iPod Touch Clones
24 01 2008The VX747 brings a jumbo-jet touch screen into ONDA’s line of iPhone and iPod Touch clones. It all started, I suppose, with the VX858, a layer with a 2.8 touch screen which incidentally also became Pasen’s iTouch and I-Fighting’s FT4021. Then came the Nano version, the VX878 with a 2.4-inch screen. The VX747’s screen isn’t as wide as the artists photos tell us being only slightly bigger than the VX858 at 3 inches with 400 × 240 pixels. It plays the MP5 standard format of RM/ RMVB as well as AVI, WMV, Flash, ASF, 3GP, MP4, MP3, WMA, WAV, FLAC, APE, JPG, GIF, BMP, PNG.
It also supports horizontal viewing and has some nice split-screen action on the GUI. There’s a USB 2.0 and an FM tuner is included. The VX747 comes in 4GB (599) and 8GB (799) versions with the TF (microSD) slot supporting up to 32GB.
And oh, a Jay (?) signed edition is apparently being hawked as a prize for a review contest by the link below.
