Now that we’ve seen what the official mylo Personal Communicator com-2 looks like, we can now start deciding if we want it or not. It’s quite an amazing device and it seems positively understated compared to the over-hyped products we’ve been covering here at this site. Mylo 2 has a QWERTY backlit keypad that slides from under the 3.5-inch touch screen, a 1.3 megapixel camera, Skype VoIP-enabled, Adobe® Flash® Lite 3 support and full PMP capabilities (that is, video and audio). Additionally, the Sony product site is touting the new preloaded widgets, e.g. a Facebook Notifier, which should be fun to use. Send and receive emails through AOL Mail, GMail and Yahoo Mail. Mylo 2 connects to Wayport, which is good at 10,000 hot spots and 9,000 McDonald’s. Price is $299.99.
