Shenzhen YZX’s PV-T245 takes inspiration from Sony’s Walkman line, which isn’t quite novel. Interestingly though, it doesn’t clone an existing device, with the buttons imitating the Walkman logo instead. The PV-T245 only plays MTV videos, but it can convert RM, MOV, VOB, WMV, ASF, MPEG, AVI and DAT files to this format.
The device also supports MP3, WMA and WAV audio tracks with ID3 tags and lyrics display, and unspecified image types. It incorporates a 2.4-inch TFT screen, a USB 2.0 port and a slot for TransFlash cards. FM radio and audio recording capability, and seven EQ settings are included.
